Good Housekeeping
Seal-holding products, like Window World’s windows, vinyl siding, and Therma-Tru doors, are evaluated by the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) to verify that all product claims are true and that the products perform as promised. GHI also reviews Quality Assurance policies to ensure all products being manufactured are of the same quality as those evaluated in the Good Housekeeping labs. Good Housekeeping stands behind every product that has currently earned the Seal by offering consumers a two-year limited warranty on products and will repair, replace, or refund the cost of the product (up to $2,000) at their discretion; if it proves defective within two years of the purchase date. Certain limitations apply. Reference the GH Consumer Policy here.
If any product that bears our limited warranty Seal proves to be defective within two years from the date it was first sold to a consumer by an authorized retailer, we, Good Housekeeping, will refund the purchase price or $2,000, whichever is less or, at Good Housekeeping's sole discretion, repair or replace the product.

EPA Lead Certified
Maintaining our Lead Certification means we are trained and regularly undertake the necessary precautions to protect our customers from the potentially harmful effects of lead. During our installation process, we take special care to ensure we contain any lead dust created, protecting our customers and the environment. Lead, which has been linked to health and environmental issues, is a heavy metal long used in the manufacturing of paint, plumbing pipes and leaded gasoline, and can still be found in many homes built prior to 1978. By following lead-safe work practices, we mitigate the risk of lead exposure associated with disturbing remnants of lead-based paint/products.
