An avid Appalachian State University Football fan, a passionate advocate of communication, and a lover of the outdoors, David Mastin brings his enthusiasm and sense of humor to his position as Director of Franchise Advancement.

After graduating from App State, where he played football and studied communications and public relations, David went to work for Lowe’s Companies and subsequently Dawson Home Fashions. He then moved to Carolina Mirror Company, formerly the nation’s foremost producer of mirror products. David credits his tenure there as a formative time filled with opportunity for learning and mentorship, two concepts he has committed to carry through his career to provide for others.

In 2010, David came to Window World as Consumer Relations Manager. In this capacity, he facilitated communication between consumers and Window World franchisees, and also got involved with Window World University, were he was appointed Team Leader in 2013.

In his current position as Director of Franchise Advancement, David is responsible for Window World University and its ongoing efforts to provide learning opportunities to franchisees. He most enjoys watching individuals learn and grow, and designing platforms on which such advancement can take place. David has also maintained oversight of the Consumer Relations Department.

David resides in Wilkes County, where he loves being with his family and pride and joy, Molly, a stately yellow lab. He and his wife Gloria have three children and five grandchildren, with whom they spend a great deal of time, and who provide many colorful moments – especially when he is babysitting!
